THEATRE ACCESS & PARKING: GREEN P (LOW COST) parking available at the Opera House, as well as various parking lots walking distance from the main entrance. Doors to the building will open for attendees 1 hour prior to show time each day.

FOOD & DRINK: Wide variety of restaurants (both dine in and take out) such as Subway, Pizza Pizza, etc. located right on Mississauga Street (2-5 minute walking distance). Food and drink available for purchase within the Opera House in the Greenroom.
PROPS: Teachers, please be prepared to load props in and out daily. Stage door access will be provided for one teacher representative ONLY, 1 hour prior to show times for prop arrival. Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to store ANY props over night at the theatre. There is no additional storage space provided, and for the safety of the performers and all event attendees, we cannot have props sitting in the backstage area.
Teachers, please also acknowledge that due to new COVID-19 procedures and venue policies, large props and/or set pieces may not be permitted. We will continue to provide information specific to each city surrounding prop protocols however, at this time we advise against the use of large props and set pieces until further notice.
MUSIC: Music is to be handed in to Purpose Dance Competition staff no less than an hour prior to show time on the first day of competition. Your music MUST be on a USB key (properly labelled with studio name). All songs must be properly titled and in alphabetical order. Please be sure to have iPod/iPad or laptop on hand for back up use if needed.
NOTE: Purpose Dance Competition does not run any events off of a CD player. Purpose Dance Competition is not responsible for any music that skips during a performance or if the wrong edited version is played.
